Federal Election: Regional wrapup

➤ CFJC Today covered four other ridings in the B.C. Interior. 

Starting in the Okangan-Shuswap riding. The riding remains Conservative as Mel Arnold finished more than 6,000 votes ahead of Liberal Cindy Derkaz. The NDP’s Jacqui Gingras placed 3rd while Chris George of the Green party placed 4th.

Dan Albas of Penticton won a second term finishing 1,500 votes ahead of Karley Scott of the Liberals. The NDP’s Angelique Wood placed a distant third, with Robert Mellalieu of the green party placing 4th.

Todd Doherty has retained the Cariboo-Prince George riding for the conservatives which was formerly held by Dick Harris. Doherty winning by 2,200 votes over Tracy Calogerhos of the Liberal Party. The NDP’s Trent Derrick placed third followed by Green candidate Richard Jaques.
