Heat tame Grizzlies in KIJHL

KAMLOOPS — The Chase Heat used the power play to defeat the Revelstoke Grizzlies 4-0 in a penalty filled game in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

Chase went 4-for-6 on the power play, while Revelstoke was 0-for-7.

Nic Bruyere stopped 26 shots for the shutout while Kolten Moore scored twice for the Heat.

Chase remains in third place in the Birks Division, four points behind co-leaders Kamloops and 100 Mile House, and ten points clear of fourth place Revelstoke.
