Kamloops rinks split in draw two at B.C. Scotties curling

KAMLOOPS — Karla Thompson from Kamloops is 2-and-0 at the B.C. Women’s Curling playdowns in Coquitlam.

Thompson broke open a close game with three in the 8th end and defeated Diane Gushulak 9-6 in draw two.

That puts Thompson in a first place tie with Victoria’s Sarah Wark and Kelly Scott.
Scott, the six time B.C. champion from Kelowna went to 2-and-0 with an 8-2 win over Amanda Russett from Kamloops.

Russett, who lost to Karla Thompson in draw one, falls to 0-and-2
