Vehicle incident closes Highway 97 in both directions north of Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE — Motorists beware: a vehicle incident has closed Highway 97 in both directions just north of Williams Lake.

According to Drive BC, the incident occurred eight kilometres north of Williams Lake at Kragbak Road.

No word yet on when the highway will reopen although a detour is available at Mountain House Road and Westcoast Road.

Drive BC says it will provide its next update at 6 p.m.
