100 Mile, Bridge Lake areas hit by power outages

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A series of power outages related to snow have hit the South Cariboo.

BC Hydro shows the largest outage centered on Bridge Lake, with more than 2200 customers without power.

That outage is due to a tree down over hydro lines.

Another outage just east of 100 Mile House has more than 800 customers in the dark, with that outage attributed to the snow.

In total, more than 3400 customers are affected by various outages in the area.
