WolfPack baseball drops first two games at college nationals
KAMLOOPS — Day one of the National College Baseball Championships wasn’t one to remember for the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack.
The Pack are representing Western Canada at this event. They dropped both of their round robin games on Thursday (Oct 25).
In the first game, TRU were on the short end of an 8-2 decision to the Fanshawe Falcons on Ontario. They then immediately took on the defending Ontario Collegiate Athletic Conference champion St Clair Saints and fell 1-0.
The first game went five innings while the second went six as the round robin games are on two hour time limit.
