Mark Chase fired as head coach/GM of Osoyoos Coyotes

KAMLOOPS — Mark Chase is out as head coach and general manager of the KIJHL Osoyoos Coyotes.

The Coyotes announced via twitter on Monday that Chase, who is from Kamloops, has been relieved of his duties.

Osoyoos is a distant third in the Okanagan Division in a tight race that has only four points between the Coyotes and the fifth and last place Princeton Posse.

Prior to joining the Coyotes last June, Chase had spent two seasons as an assistant coach with Melville in the Saskatchewan Junior League.

He is also a former coach and GM of the B.C. Major Midget League Thompson Blazers from 2013 to 2015.
