Stankoven sets T.B. team record, closes in on league mark

KAMLOOPS — Blazers 15-year old prospect Logan Stankoven set a new Thompson Blazers scoring record on Sunday.

After playing Friday and Saturday with the major junior Blazers, Stankoven returned to his midget team on Sunday and scored three goals and set up five more for eight points in the Thompson Blazers 10-0 win over the Kootenay Ice.

With 43 goals this season Stankoven is one behind the league record set by Tyson Jost of the Okanagan Rockets in the 2013-14 season.
