Two Kamloops high schools celebrate provincial championship

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops high schools won two provincial sports championships last weekend.

While South Kam was celebrating a girls B.C. basketball championship, Westsyde was honouring its 2019 B.C. School Boys Curling champions.

The team of Bryan Yamada at skip, Daniel Griffiths third, Nolan Bottineau second , Zander Landygo at lead and coached by Ray Olsen went through the playdowns undefeated at 7-and-0.
