CRIME STOPPERS: Suspect sought in credit card theft, fraud

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Crime Stoppers is hoping to identify a credit card theft suspect after a local woman was taken for thousands of dollars.

The woman was a customer at Value Village in Sahali last September when her wallet was stolen.

According to Crime Stoppers, the victim forgot to cancel her credit cards after the theft, and soon discovered about $3000 in charges had been racked up at businesses around Kamloops.

Suspect description:

  • Aboriginal man
  • 40-50 years old
  • Shorter grey hair
  • Clean shaven
  • Was wearing a blue T-shirt, black zip-up hoodie and grey pants
