WHL suspends Victoria’s McDonald six games

KAMLOOPS — The Western Hockey League has handed down a suspension from a stick swinging incident in a game Kamloops last week.

Victoria Royals forward Kody McDonald has been suspended for six games for swinging his stick into the Blazers bench in game four of the first round playoff series on March 27.

After that game Victoria coach Dan Price says there were “personal and specific comments” from the Kamloops bench.
