KAMLOOPS — Police are looking for a suspect following a string of robberies in the past 24 hours.

Sergeant Brandon Buliziuk says they think the robberies were all committed by the same person.

Since Sunday, this suspect male is believed to have committed robberies at 3 separate businesses in Kamloops, each time brandishing a large knife as a weapon.

Police have issued pictures of the suspect, and a vehicle that may have been involved.

The man is described as approximately 45-55 years of age, Caucasian, larger build and stature and bearing a grey goatee. The male has worn a blue and grey Vancouver Canucks hooded sweatshirt during each of the 3 robberies.  He is believed to be driving a silver/grey, smaller 4 door sedan.

If you have any information, call the RCMP or Crimestoppers.

Sergeant Buliziuk says police are committing all available resources to finding the suspect. He says the man should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
