QUESNEL — The BC Wildfire Service is busy battling a 76-hectare fire seven kilometres northwest of Comstock Lake and about 125 kilometres northwest of Quesnel on Batnuni Road.
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — The B.C. Wildfire Service and B.C. Parks are starting to perform a 100-hectare ecosystem restoration burn in the Dry Farm area of the Churn Creek Protected Area.

QUESNEL, B.C. — A well-known lumber mill in the Cariboo region has been fined hundreds of thousands of dollars after a worker sustained serious injuries at the plant.
The incident happened at West Fraser Mills in Quesnel.
