5 SECONDS OF SUMMER BECOME SKELETONS FOR EERIE ‘VALENTINE’ VISUALIZER VIDEO: 5 Seconds Of Summer turned into head-banging skeletons in their eerie new video, “Valentine.” The visualizer for “Valentine” sees the 5SOS guys – Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin – baring their bones as skeletons. The Halloween-esque video matches the creepy bassline of the Youngblood track, with the skeletal guys bopping along to the beat throughout the entire song. The guys also revealed that the official video will arrive on September 14th.

KATY PERRY SAYS SHE WAS NOT RAPED BY DR. LUKE: Katy Perry’s deposition for the lawsuit between Dr. Luke (real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald) and Kesha has been released. In the deposition, the singer says she was never raped by Dr. Luke, that he never gave her a roofie, that she never had a sexual or romantic relationship with the producer, and that she never told anyone that she was raped by him, even as a joke, according to Billboard. Katy also said she was aware that Kesha claimed that she was raped by Luke. Her testimony contradicts previously reported text messages from Kesha to Lady Gaga alleging that Gottwald had assaulted the singer. Kesha has sued Gottwald for alleged sexual assault and Gottwald has countersued for defamation, the case for which Perry testified.

DUA LIPA TEASES RELEASE DATE FOR SILK CITY COLLAB: Dua Lipa has announced a release date for her upcoming collab with Silk City, the new supergroup made up of Mark Ronson and Diplo. The song, called “Electricity,” will be out next month. Dua tweeted, “Okkkkkkkk okk okkkkk!!! My babies I love you! I got something coming for you in 12 days,” along with a bunch of lightning emojis to signify she was talking about “Electricity.” The song will be dropping on September 6th. Dua also confirmed there will be a music video to go with it.

MARIAH CAREY SAYS NEW ALBUM FEATURES ‘A NICE CROSS-SECTION OF THINGS’: Mariah Carey says her new album is “a labor of love” and she thinks her fans will appreciate it. Speaking to People, Mariah says, “This is me at this moment in my life being able to express myself as a writer and a singer. I’m just really in a good place.” She adds, “My fans just want to hear me express myself and speak from the heart and sing from the heart. Some of the record is lighthearted and fun, and some [songs] I really went deep in terms of the lyrical content. There’s a nice cross-section of things.” Mariah also describes the album as feeling “current” but not following “anybody else’s trends.” The diva adds that when her Las Vegas show resumes next year, she plans to change up the set list, explaining, “I want to make it really impromptu and surprise the people who have come out again and again to see the show.”
